AKMI S.A.

As an Educational Provider with a strong experience in curriculum design methodologies and apprenticeship programmes, and as the leading VET Institution in Greece with over 15,000 learners. AKMI has also a strong experience as a Lead Partner both in KA2 and KA3 Erasmus+ projects and in other Co-Financed Projects (REC, AMIF) with a strong financial capacity to support the project coordination, ensuring successful and smooth project implementation. Currently, AKMI is managing approximately 60 EU-funded projects. Based on this experience, it will coordinate WP1 & WP4, while it will undertake an active role in the rest of WPs, as well.


PostEurop

The Association of European Public Postal Operators, is a platform for the entire European Postal Industry. Its 55 members in 53 countries and territories collectively operate 175,000 retail counters, employ 2 million people, and link 800 million people daily. PostEurop unites its members and promotes greater cooperation, sustainable growth, and continuous innovation. PostEurop is also an officially recognized Restricted Union of the Universal Postal Union (UPU). In this project, PostEurop will lead the WP7 in exploring ways to expand our project results to its members for further exploitation and capitalization.


EVBB, European Association of Institutes of Vocational Training

The European umbrella association of free and non-profit educational providers. Its objective lies in the qualitative improvement of vocational education and training in European countries and an increase in the efforts being carried out in education at a European level. EVBB has a great network within and outside Europe (65 Educational Institutions & 1500 Educational Centers) and will help us to further disseminate the DigiGreen Post’s results, it will involve more VET providers, it will approach partners from third countries (such as Russia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Turkey). According to its special know-how, it will participate in Action 3.2.2: Validation of findings through the consultation with sectoral representatives and education partners, Action 3.3.3. Delivery of a Postal Skills Strategy (including policy recommendations), Action 6.1.4: Capitalization of the ILAs after the completion of the project, and in various actions of WP7 “Dissemination and Exploitation Activities”.


ELTA – Hellenic Post

With more than 1400 retail outlets and 6,500 employees, Hellenic Post is suitable partner. Great extensive experience in planning, implementing, and managing EU funded programs having participated in a wide range of Erasmus+ programs in the field of human resource management and training. It will have an active role in research activities of WP3, in the design of WBL pool of tasks under WP3 in which learners will have to implement those tasks in the real work place, in WP4/Activity 4.3 by providing trainers or/and managers to be trained in ToTs, in WP5 by providing current or future potential postal employees wishing to take the courses (online, f2f, WBL), in WP6 by identifying the learners who will create and pilot the ILAs (Action 6.1.3) and will participate in the final examinations (Activity 6.2.5) in order to get the “DigiGreen” certificate, and in various activities of WP7 (Action 7.4.1, etc.).


Instruction & Formation

Is a training provider in Ireland with a great experience also in adult & VET education and in lifelong learning. I & F has run programmes in rural development, entrepreneurship, and digital skills, while it is also experienced in the production of training content and in the design of WBLs. Thus, it will support P1 for the design of a WBL scheme (Action 4.2.5) and it will have an active role in the production of courses content (Action 4.2.2) and in the pilot delivery of trainings (WP5) and ILAs (Action 6.1.3).


Posta Romana

The sole supplier of universal service in Romanian territory, PostaRomana is a suitable partner since it has a great experience in delivering trainings (online and f2f) and WBLs and with expertise in Erasmus+ projects for the postal sector. It will participate in the research phase of WP3 (interviews, questionnaires, DaCum workshop), in piloting the e-learning platform, the WBLs and the certification examinations. It will also provide a significant input in the dissemination and exploitation activities (WP7).


CPIPCenter for Promoting Lifelong Learning

Is a Romanian NGO that works in lifelong learning and VET provision since 2005. It has experience in creating competence frameworks and in designing and piloting training programmes including WBLs. Its trainers have experience in digital skills training and in the agricultural field. It will support the P11 to create the DigiGreen Competence Framework (Action 3.3.2), it will participate in the creation of training materials, and it will lead the WP5.


Sling BV.

A media company specialized in the field of communication, dissemination strategic planning, which along with P2 & P3 will contribute positively to our partnership with regards to all communication and dissemination actions, the creation of social media and the project platform.


BK-con

The Quality Assurance partner, which will boost our partnership during project implementation through the design and use of a quality assurance mechanism. It will lead the WP2 providing the partnership with the QA mechanisms, procedures, indicators, and methodologies, delivering QA reports in a semi-annual basis, and assigning an External Evaluator.


Hellenic Open University (HOU)

Applies educational, methodological, and technological innovation in distance learning and educational content development. HOU is member of EADTU, EUA, Eurashe and the Greek Digital Skills and Jobs coalition. It will participate in this proposal through the DAISSy (Dynamic Ambient Intelligent Sociotechnical Systems) research group of the School of Science and Technology. Since its establishment, DAISSy has participated in more than 35 national and European projects. It will leαd the WP3 by proving the methodology for the research activities, it will create the eLearning platform (Action 4.2.4) and the ILAs (Action 6.1.1). Finally, it will provide the partnership with Trainers who will facilitate co-creation of digital competences training material for the postal employees applying the DigiComp2.0.


Institute for Political Ecology (IPE)

Is a valuable partner since it is institute specialized in research & education on ecology, sustainable societies, climate justice, sustainability indicators, etc. IPE has established the so called “Green Academy” which is networking platform organizing summer schools. So far more than 1500 participants from more than 30 countries have circulated through its programs. As a research institute, it will analyse the quantitative data from Action 3.1.1 in order to provide conclusions on “digigreen” training needs of postal employees. It will participate in the design and development of green-specific learning units. It will produce an informative/awareness raising article (Action 7.4.3), while it will promote our project results in its “Green Academy”.


EUROCERT

Is an Independent Third-Party Inspection and Certification Body in Romania with 20 years- experience, with a National, European & International range of activities and a broad range of scientific disciplines. It provides Management Systems Certification, Certification of Products Requiring CE Marking, Performing statutory periodic inspections of industrial items. It will lead the WP6 “Development of a Dual Recognition Scheme in the Postal Sector”. Its main role in the DigiGreen Post project will be to deliver the “DigiGreen Post” Certification Scheme.


Associated Partner: Hellenic Authority for Communication Security and Privacy (ADAE)

Has been established according to article 19 par. 2 of the Hellenic Constitution. According to article 1 of its founding law, 3115/2003, its purpose is to protect the free correspondence or communication in any possible way. ADAE has, inter alia, the competence to: 

  • issue regulations regarding the assurance of confidentiality of communications,
  • to perform audits on communications network/service providers, postal service providers, public entities as well the Hellenic National Intelligence Service,
  • to hold hearings of the aforementioned entities,
  • to investigate relevant complaints from members of the public,
  • to collect relevant information using special investigative powers. It should be noted that Law 3115/2003 stipulates that, when performing an audit that involves files related to national security, the personal attendance of the President of ADAE is required.

In addition to the above, ADAE is the independent administrative authority responsible to monitor the implementation of all legislation relevant to the lawful interception of communications and, for this purpose, is authorized to receive all lawful interception orders issued by the judicial authorities. As regards this competence, it must be clarified that ADAE’s role is limited to monitoring that the procedural terms and conditions set out by national legislation on lawful interception are met. The Authority is not allowed to assess the judgment of competent judicial authorities. Only the latter can decide on the necessity of issuing a lawful interception order.

As the national authority for communication security and privacy, ADAE can provide important input in WP3 and WP4, for the development of the trainings regarding the digital aspect of the project.
